Terms of service
Last updated 16 October 2026
These terms apply when you use wrennick.com, create an account, or download or buy our products. Wrennick is run by your full legal name (“we”, “us”). Our contact details are in the imprint.
Ember will get its own terms when it opens. Where these terms speak of “products”, they mean our Unreal Engine plugins and their style packs.
1. Your account
- You sign in with Discord or Google. You need to be at least 14 to create an account.
- If you're under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission to buy anything.
- An account is for one person. Keep your Discord or Google login safe, since it's also the key to your account.
- You can delete your account at any time on your account page.
2. Free and paid products
Every plugin has a free version that works fully. Paid style packs add new looks for a plugin. What each product contains, what it costs and which Unreal Engine versions it supports is shown on its page.
3. Buying
- Purchases are processed by Stripe Managed Payments, which acts as reseller and merchant of record. At checkout it appears as Link, Stripe's checkout brand. You buy the product from Stripe, which handles the payment, VAT or sales tax, your invoice and any payment disputes. Stripe's terms apply to the payment. These terms apply to the product and how you may use it.
- Prices are in euros. The final price, including any VAT or sales tax for your country, is shown at checkout.
- The contract is concluded when you complete checkout.
- Your purchase is available in your account right after payment, and you can download it again later.
- Style packs are one-time purchases, not subscriptions.
4. Right of withdrawal
If you're a consumer in the EU, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase made online. For digital content that isn't on a physical medium, this right ends once the download becomes available, if you expressly agreed at checkout that delivery starts right away and confirmed that you lose your right of withdrawal by doing so (§ 18(1)(11) FAGG). As the seller, Stripe applies these rules at checkout.
Independently of that, our refund policy applies: if a paid product doesn't work for you and we can't fix it, you get your money back.
5. Your license
The products stay our property. With a free download or a purchase you get a lasting, non-exclusive license, valid worldwide, to:
- use the product in any number of your own projects, including commercial games and apps
- change it however you like inside those projects
- ship it as part of a finished game or app, in packaged or compiled form
You may not:
- sell, share or publish the product on its own, or as part of an asset pack, template, plugin or other tool for developers, in source or asset form
- remove our copyright notices from the source files
A license covers you as a person, or one company and its employees if you get it for that company.Confirm this is how you want licenses to work for teams. Parts made by others come with their own licenses, listed inside the product.
6. Updates and warranty
- If you're a consumer, your statutory warranty rights apply in full, including the right to updates that keep the product working as described for the period the law requires (Verbrauchergewährleistungsgesetz).
- We aim to support new Unreal Engine versions as they come out, but can't promise that a product will work with every future engine version.
- Each product page lists the engine versions and requirements a product is made for.
7. Support
- Free products: community help on our Discord, answered when there's time.
- Paid products: priority email support, answered before free requests.
Support doesn't include custom development or fixing problems in your own project.
8. Using the site fairly
Please don't attack or overload the site, scrape it, misuse other people's accounts, or get around licensing.
If someone seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, we can suspend or close their account, after a warning where that's reasonable. Licenses for products you've already paid for stay valid unless you broke the license itself.
9. Liability
- We're fully liable for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, and for personal injury.
- For damage caused through slight negligence, we're not liable, except for personal injury.
- Liability under the Austrian Product Liability Act (PHG) is unaffected.
Plugins change your Unreal project. Keep backups or use version control, as you would with any plugin.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for future use, for example when we add new products. If a change affects people who already have an account, we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you don't agree, you can delete your account before then. A purchase is always governed by the terms that applied when you made it.
11. Law and disputes
- Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you're a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of that country.
- If you're a consumer, you can bring a claim in the courts where you live. For businesses, the competent court at our place of business has jurisdiction.
- If something goes wrong, please write to us first. We aren't obliged to take part in proceedings before a consumer dispute resolution body. You can still contact the Internet Ombudsstelle.
- If any part of these terms is invalid, the rest stays valid.
